Two important hearings will be held today, at the same time (9 a.m.) and in different buildings in downtown LA that will affect the neighborhoods in Altadena.
Meeting #1 is a hearing at the LA County Business License Commission regarding RJ's Liquors, allegedly a favorite hangout for alleged gang members and other upstanding citizens.
Meeting #2 is at the Regional Planning Commission regarding the Fair Oaks Townhouse Project, an attempt to improve that blighted area, altho' some residents are objecting to the development. Expect both sides to show.
