The latest about the construction at Altadena Drive and Santa Rosa, i.e. Christmas Tree Lane:
Pasadena Now reports that work on medians, curbs, and gutters will continue, which includes the Santa Rosa/Altadena Dr. intersection, until about Dec. 14. Work will be finished at 5 p.m. each day. This is not really an accommodation, because that's when the crews usually quit work anyway!
However, the resurfacing of Altadena Drive will not start until after the first of the year, allowing (we hope) the free flow of traffic on Santa Rosa during the lighting period. There will be construction going on during the day on Altadena Drive (including the occasional lane closure), but weekends will be construction-free.
