Vanessa Marie Ochoa and Mesha Arshaz Dean, both 23, pleaded not guilty to murder and kidnapping charges in the March 18 Altadena shooting of Monroe Miles, Jr., 32. Ochoa and Dean allegedly shot Miles and kidnapped Ochoa's son, who was in the legal custody of his father, Mark Miles -- the victim was Mark Miles' brother, and the boy's uncle. The boy was unharmed; the women remain in custody, and pretrial hearing is scheduled for Jan. 31. PSN has the details.
