Altadenablog always felt he belonged in the 19th century (was it the early love for Verne and Poe, several complete editions of Sherlock Holmes tales, the annotations he contributed to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comic book analyses? Who knows?)
Anyway, the Social Daunce Irregulars, a SoCal group that is trying to keep the Victorian dance spirit alive, is holding a practice session at Davies Hall in Farnsworth Park this Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Admission is $10, and dress is casual. This is practice for the Winter Victorian Grand Ball on Nov. 24th at Pasadena Masonic Hall.
