Eve of Destruction: Relive the '60's with the indestructible Barry McGuire and Terry Talbot at Coffee Gallery Backstage, 7 p.m.
For kids: Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena has a program about the Hindu festival of lights at 1 p.m., with a drop-in mixed-media craft workshop (make your own multiple-armed goddess! Really!) 411 W. Colorado Blvd.
"Ratatouille" in the Storyhour Room at the Pasadena Central Library, 285 E. Walnut, 1 p.m., free, and fresh free popcorn.
Sunday
Veteran's Day Program: Congressman Adam Schiff invites you to join him on Sun., Nov. 11, from
3-5 p.m. to honor the Tuskegee Airmen at Farnsworth Park. Come hear
their stories and learn about Schiff's efforts to support issuing a
postage stamp to honor the Airmen, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team,
Navajo Code Talkers, and Hispanic veterans. Schiff's staff will also
be on hand to assist all veterans and answer questions about federal
