Charges dropped in SF cop killer case

SFGate reports that conspiracy charges were dropped against four of the "San Francisco Eight" on Thursday   Ray Boudreaux and Henry Watson Jones, both of Altadena, were among the defendants who had conspiracy charges dropped in the murder of SF police sergeant John Young in 1971.  The prosecutor said that the charges were dropped because the statute of limitations on the conspiracy charges had run out; however, the murder charge is still going forward.  Details here.
