To upgrade Altadena’s Fair Oaks Avenue, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved $400,000 in Economic Development Funds to provide facade improvement services to commercial buildings, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich who initiated the request.
Alta/Pasa Community Improvement Center will provide the upgrade to commercial buildings along Fair Oaks Boulevard between Altadena Drive and West Woodbury Road in the unincorporated community of Altadena. The County also recently allocated funding to add trees and landscaping adjacent to sidewalks along Fair Oaks Avenue. This work is currently underway.
