We would normally never use the words "pimp" and "public library" in one sentence, but what's a mutha to do?
The Altadena Library's Teen Advisory Committee is sponsoring a "Pimp My Bookcart" competition -- they say, "Help us transform our bookcarts from drab to fab!" Two teams will compete to design the winning cart on Tues., Feb. 5, 4-6 p.m. Supplies are provided -- sign up at the main library reference desk or call 798-8338. All teens are welcome!
