Now we can say that about the old, abandoned WaMu a block south. It's toasty -- as in "caught on fire this morning."
As of 11 a.m. today, firefighters were still hosing down the fenced-in hulk that in recent years has been a parking lot for film crews, a refuge for homeless people, and an eyesore to the neighborhood. This isn't the first fire -- there was one a couple of weeks ago that Altadenablog witnessed -- but by the look of the damage, this'll probably be the last. PSN has sketchy details.
