Webster's is holding an Easter-themed coloring contest for kids on Sat., March 22, which will be judged by E. Bunny himself. Easter baskets will also be raffled off for the kids.
But most important, 25% of sales that day will be donated to the Bright Future Scholars for the benefit of Antwan Havard. Antwan was hoping to attend the Scholars' spring retreat in Washington, D.C., this April, but his grandmother passed away and the funds his family earmarked for the trip had to be used to handle those expenses.
(Bright Futures Scholars is a project of Dr. Sandra Thomas, an Altadena town councilmember and the current Citizen of the Year. The Scholars program, for middle and high school students, helps expand their educational and life horizons).
