Gail Murphy and friend and fellow gardener Kathryn Toth share a laugh at the first "official" COFEAltadena Yahoo group fruit sale this afternoon, on Santa Anita north of Altadena Drive. The Yahoo discussion group, formed of Altadena and Pasadena gardenic overachievers, will be offering their wares to the public throughout the growing season.
By the way, if you're offering backyard produce in a front yard stand, let Altadenablog know. With gas at $5 or so a gallon, there won't be that many random drivers out there to sell to -- let 'em know you're out there so they can drive directly and save gas!
