Large Commercial Vehicles Restricted in Altadena
LOS ANGELES COUNTY – To improve public safety and the flow of traffic for the community of Altadena, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to the Altadena Community Standards District restricting commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds or more on any highway or alley in Altadena, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
The County Department of Public Works will be responsible for posting signs at the boundaries of the Altadena Community Standards District notifying motorist of on-street parking prohibition for commercial vehicles of 10,000 pounds or more. The restriction shall apply between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m, 7 days a week.
