KFWB is reporting that the quake you just felt struck @ 11:40 AM, is a 5.8 temblor epicenter about 2 miles from Chino Hills -- usually get 4.0 aftershocks, and there's a chance of it being a foreshock to something larger.

3:15 PM Update: Time was officially 11:42, and intensity was 5.4. Our kids didn't even know an earthquake was going on, and we were online with tech support for Uverse ("just plug it in and it'll work" --- bah!). Newsgroup chatter today says nothing alarming happened.
