An addendum to this weekend's heart-warming story (mentioned below). We received this message from one of the players, Dr. Joyce Kohl:
Besides a new Godson from Malawi, I'm also trying to keep a family from starving in Zimbabwe, where the inflation rate is 2.2 million percent! They send me things they make & I try to sell them. I have some beautiful hand carved Shona stone sculptures and also some horn jewelery. If I sell it directly to you (cheap), all the money goes to the family--if I take it to a store, it will be marked up. Want to come see before I try to see if the Folk Tree wants to buy it?
