Rape, assaults, battery and graffiti characterize the past month’s crime log. Details after the jump.
July 17: 500 block E. Loma Alta - unknown persons vandalized victim’s mailbox by writing graffiti on it.
July 19: 2000 block Madison Ave. - tools stolen from truck bed.
July 20: Woodbury & Glenrose - stolen vehicle.
July 21: 500 block Woodbury Rd. - unknown persons entered victim’s home and stole her TV.
July 25: 300 block E. Sacramento St.: female Hispanic adult arrested for battery on a peace officer and felony obstruction.
July 27 (reported July 28): 00 block E. Altadena Dr: Male Hispanic adult assaulted another male Hispanic adult with knife - non-life-threatening.
Aug. 3: 400 block W. Figueroa Dr.: Male Hispanic adult arrested for threatening several male and female black adults with knife - classified as assault and hate crime because suspect made racial slurs.
Aug. 4: N. Marengo Ave - male Hispanic adult arrested for raping a female Hispanic adult.
