Batteries, assaults, and drugs seem to be the trend in the latest crime log, after the jump:
Sept. 22: Two men were arrested for possession and sales of pirated DVDs on the 2200 block of N. Lake Ave.
Sept. 23: Adult male was assaulted with a firearm in a possibly gang-related crime on the 500 block of Crosby St. Non-life-threatening.
Sept. 25: Corner of Ventura St. and Windsor Ave., two men arrested for possession of marijuana for sale.
Sept. 27: Man arrested for spousal battery at the 2200 block of St. James Place.
Sept. 30: 2100 block of Windsor Ave., a man and woman arrested for possession of methamphetamine and a controlled substance.
Oct. 2: Man arrested for assaulting a deputy sheriff on East Mariposa.
Oct. 3: Juvenile male arrested for burglary of Nia Educational Charter School.
Oct. 3: Woman stabs another woman on West Terrace St.
Oct. 7: Woman assaulted by two other women on the 2100 block of Fair Oaks Ave.
