Meet a live bat as Dane Simons aka The Bat Lady dispels some common misconceptions about these fascinating little creatures.
Halloween and Día de los Muertos Celebration
Fri., Oct. 31 (Altadena Library Community Room)
Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican holiday when family and friends gather to honor and remember loved ones. Halloween and Day of the Dead activities will include construction paper jack o’ lanterns, puppets, and sugar-skull decorating. Halloween activities will go on from 2:30-5, but children can come in costume anytime during the day and pick up a Halloween treat.
