A rescue copter just touched down at Farnsworth Park around 7:35 to drop off another injured hiker. According to the scanner traffic, the hiker was airlifted from Echo Mountain. The injuries were not serious enough to warrant airlifting to a trauma center, so the Farnsworth Park ballfield was turned into a helipad to transfer the hiker to a ground ambulance. We ran into Bill Westphal there (because he's EVERYWHERE) with camera in tow, and he promised us pictures of the dramatic scene later tonight.
