Veteran’s Day is “Fee Free” on the Angeles National Forest

national forests waiving Adventure Pass Requirement for Nov.

Arcadia, Calif. – In honor of our nation’s veterans and those currently serving, visitors to the Angeles National Forest will not be required to purchase an Adventure Pass for Tuesday, November 11.
The Cleveland, Los Padres and San Bernardino National Forests will also be honoring the “Fee Free” day.The U.S. Forest Service has designated three days each year as “fee free.” There is no Adventure Pass required for National Trails Day in June, National Public Lands Day in September and Veteran’s Day in November.
The Adventure Pass is normally required for parking in heavily used recreation areas throughout National Forests in southern California.
Visitors who inadvertently use an Adventure Pass on a free day may have it replaced free-of-charge at any U.S. Forest Service office in southern California. Visitors are encouraged to check locally for campground fees or other fees that may apply.
