Bright Futures Scholars Christmas celebration Dec. 6

Got this no-nonsense message from the Quality of Life Center for the Bright Futures Scholars, after the jump:

Be reminded that your MANDATORY meeting is December 6, 2008 at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Drive, Altadena.

Please arrive no later than 12:45pm, as your meeting schedule is full.  The meeting will begin promptly at 1:00pm. It is important that you are present to this Christmas Celebration. The meeting will consist of games, food and fun. Please arrive on time, so you can be involved in all of the various games.

Judge Philip Soto, one of our mentors, has taken time out of his busy schedule to bring Christmas greeting. Dean of Scholars, Dr. Sandra E. Thomas, will also be present to greet you and discuss the program and upcoming events.Remember to arrive by 12:45pm, wearing your sparkling white Bright Futures Scholars shirt, in preparation for photographs. If you have questions or cannot attend the Saturday meeting, please call the office 626-798-5433 and ask for C. Jake or LaWanda.
