National Weather Service warns that combination rain and snow may fall overnight as low as the 1,500 foot level, which covers the higher, mountainous parts of Altadena. Odds are good for heavy rain, wind, and cold temperatures tonight and tomorrow -- those with livestock and sensitive plants are warned to get 'em inside or keep 'em covered overnight.
