Celeb real estate blogger Lindsay Blake continues her scouring of Altadena with a feature on the Balian mansion, home of the best Christmas lighting display anywhere (it's even featured in AOL's top festive decorated houses!) When we first encountered it c. 1986 -- by accident -- we thought it looked like the Close Encounters mothership come to life!
