The Friends of the Altadena Library District will be offering a free program, “Family Legacy,” on Fri., Feb. 6 at 7 PM. In this workshop, award-winning author Linda Weaver Clarke will describe her secrets of making ancestors come alive on paper by turning family history into a variety of written formats in both fiction and non-fiction.
Everyone has stories of themselves or ancestors that might be considered their family legacy. These stories need to be written down for children and generations to come. Clarke has toured the United States extensively with this exciting program which will appeal to both genealogists and aspiring authors.
Family Legacy is the first in a series of workshops for writers which will take place during the months of February, March, and April of this year. All presentations will be held at the Altadena Library Community Room, 600 East Mariposa Street, in Altadena.
