The ever-reliable Contra Costa Times tells us that Hal Lee Moore, 54, was convicted of second-degree murder and six other counts stemming from a 2006 traffic accident at Hill and Washington. Moore ran a red light and fled a three-car accident, causing the death of
Bertha Vasquez Arias, 30, of Rosemead. He will be sentenced in April, and could get up to 18 years and 8 months.
