Chatter on the newsgroups says that there have been a series of break-ins in garages on Morsley. A resident of the area who was doing her laundry in the garage in the early morning hours also says she scared a man who was trying to hop her fence.

Thursday, 29 Jan, about 6:50AM I saw a suspicious person on Craig Ave 4-6 houses south of Berendo, at 1819. Our dog was barking and when I brought him in the back door I saw a person in the street at my driveway who appeared to be looking toward the trash cans and my first thought was a scavenger ... I believe this person was looking into cars because by the time I walked through the house to get a closer look a car was headed south, it appeared to have turned around and I believe the driver was the person I'd seen. The car was a newer model, maybe a Prius, and was a light color like gold or bronze. The distance and dawn lighting make it hard for me to be accurate on descriptions. I think it was a slender man, I'm sure s/he was wearing dark pants/sweats and a dark hoodie with hood up, perhaps 6 ft. and 160 lb. I could not see complexion.
We not only encourage you to report these crimes to the sheriff (798-1131), but let Altadenablog know so we can spread the word and help make our streets safer.
