A summer full of wonder at Altadena Christian Children's Center

It's not too early to think about summer -- really!  Altadena Christian Children’s Center is sponsoring "Summer Wonderland" June-August, a day camp just for children who have completed kindergarten through fourth grade:

Through the daily schedule, weekly speakers and field trips, our children are exposed to rich, multicultural learning experiences that are hands on, fun and meaningful.

The curriculum we use at Summer Wonderland is called Discovery! It is a series of interdisciplinary units of study with topics that are explored through fun academics, fine arts, recreation and sports. This year will be discovering our world as we go AROUND THE WORLD IN 50 DAYS!  There are opportunities for arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor games, dramatic play, water play and cooking!

We want to help keep the children’s minds active and curious during the summer with a creative and fun approach to learning through their Camp experiences.
