Seems to be a trend going on.
Checking the Altadena crime map over the past few days, there seems to have been a cluster of thefts from unlocked cars on the East side above Altadena Drive, around Farnsworth Park.
And newsgroup chatter has pinpointed missing mail and packages from around the President Streets area and the 2800 blocks of Tanoble and Zane Grey Terrace.
Whatever's not nailed down appears to be an opportunity for local thieves, so be extra cautious.
