Farnsworth to receive $53,000 in upgrades

New seats at Farnsworth! This just in from Supervisor Michael Antonovich's office:

To enhance the outdoor amphitheater experience at Charles S. Farnsworth Park, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich’s proposal to refurbish and replace the park’s amphitheater seating and two air condition ventilators.

The project is slated to be completed in Fall 2009, and will cost $53,000.

(We presume the ventilators are for the Davies building -- otherwise, we're trying to figure out how to air condition an outdoor theater!)
