Altadena Heritage stretches its historical/ preservationist boundaries a bit to start the first in a series of events focusing on sustainable living in Altadena.
"Altadena: Heritage of Abundance" will be held from 9-11 AM at on Sat., May 30, at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr. Speakers include historian Michele Zack on "Altadena's Heritage of Abundance," author Erik Knutzen (author of The Urban Homestead), Marcia Coppress of the Co-Operative Food Exchange of Altadena, and Patrick Reagan of Altadena Wants a Co-op.
