- Don't forget to join the Altadena Arts Coalition and the North Lake Business District merchants for a balloon-filled Open House! Businesses and galleries will be open Friday night from 4 to 9 PM or later -- something for everybody, and we've got the most up-to-date list of activities for your enjoyment!
- And it's Open Mic night at Farnsworth Park, 7 PM Friday, for the best in local poetry and spoken word.
- Also the anti-violence rally at the corner of Altadena Dr. and Fair Oaks, 5-7 PM.
- The Altadena Hazardous Waste Roundup is at the county DPW yard, Sat., 9 AM-3 PM.
- This Saturday all are invited to join the American Cancer Society for its "Mini Relay" at Farnsworth Park between 9:30 -11 AM, a warmup for the June 6 event -- come and learn about our Relay For Life event and how you can participate!
- Friends of the Library annual book sale at the library, 600 E. Mariposa, 10-4 Sat., 1-4 Sun.
- Acoustic guitarist David Pritchard and friends at the Folly Bowl, 7 PM Sat.
- Lance Anderson performs "selected chapters" from his upcoming autobiographical novel "King of the Boys" about growing up in the San Fernando Valley in the 1970's and 80s, at Altadena Junction, 7 PM Sat.
- Pirates of the Black Swan on Fri., Suzie Glaze and the Hilonesome Band on Sat., and Janet Klein and the Parlor Boys on Sun. at the Coffee Gallery.
