The Afro-Cuban sounds of Melena rocked Farnsworth Park Saturday night in the Sheriff's Support Group concert series. Bill Westphal was there, camera and all, and filed this illustrated report:
It was a pretty good (and enthusiastic) crowd. Lots of people were dancing and enjoying themsleves.
The Band was pretty hot.

Melena played a variety of drums and percussion instruments.
She put on a great show, even going out into the audience and bringing them into the act.
I think the only person that enjoyed the show more than the audience was Melena. She was definitely having a good time.
