Carolyn Seitz of the Sheriff's Community Advisory Committee has sent out this update to the local newsgroups about last week's shooting:
Many of you have been asking for information about the shooting that occurred on Thursday, July 31, at Lincoln and Figueroa, near All-Star Liquor.
The shooting is considered a gang shooting.
The Detectives at Altadena Sheriff's Station identified a suspect by Friday, but the suspect is not yet in custody.
He is aware that he is being sought, and he is being encouraged to make arrangements to turn himself in.
He is currently out of the area.
