- Open Mic night, spoken word at Farnsworth Park, 7 PM.
- Artistry of the Guitar at the Coffee Gallery Backstage, 8 PM, $20.
Sat., Aug. 22
- Bulgarini Gelato's Italian dinner and a movie series continues. Dinner starts at 8 ($12), a great Italian movie is shown in the courtyard at 8:45 (free and open to all), gelateria open before, during, and after the film. This week: Like Water for Chocolate (which is actually a Mexican film!)
- Sligo Rags at the Coffee Gallery Backstage, 8 PM, $18.
