UPDATE 4 PM: Chris Considine sends this report:
I just drove up the 210 from California Bl and got off at Lincoln. Altadena is now threatened by this Station Fire.
The La Canada side is smoldering which of course is excellent news for our neighbors to the West. But now the fire is roaring over to the East and heading for the La Vina area very quickly. As always super kudos to those men and women risking their lives on the lines and in the air to douse this fire.
UPDATE 4:15: PSN reports that "Search and Rescue team members are heading for Altadena neighborhods in Millard Canyon, La Vina and The Meadows warning residents to be ready to leave if the Station Fire continues to spread east."
