A new outdoor fitness zone will be installed at Charles White Park, 77 Mountain View Street in Altadena, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
At a cost of $45,000, provided through a MetLife Grant to Los Angeles County Parks, the fitness zone is an easy-to-use outdoor gym with equipment that provides strength training, flexibility and cardio-vascular workouts. The equipment is weather proof and appropriate for all ages. The equipment will complement and add diversity to the sports activities, aerobic and dance classes and nutritional and cooking programs that are available at many County parks.
