Back when we were working as a PR flack for the South Coast Air Quality Management District, we were too much of a peon to even be in the illustrious presence of our board of directors (which included Supervisor Michael Antonovich). So it was a real pleasure to be able to shake the man's hand without a higher-up going nova over our presumption!
We were honored this morning by Supv. Antonovich and the entire the Board of Supervisors for our work during the Station Fire, but said (and mean!) that we share this award with all the Altadenans who helped us out during that time, by sending us their field reports and making Altadenablog the only place to get real-time, local fire news. We couldn't have done it without you, and we thank you for it!
