Another busy weekend:
Fri., Nov. 6
- Altadena artist Susan Braig will be among those selling at the Fall Ceramic Fair and Studio sale at Xiem Clay Center, 1563 N. Lake Ave., on Fri. 6-9 PM and Sat. 10:30 AM-4:30 PM. Enjoy demonstrations, live music and refreshments as you meet exhibiting artists and source one-of-a-kind hand-made treasures. Braig specializes in "designer drug RX jewelry," which helps pay for the medical expenses Blue Cross didn't cover as part of her cancer treatment.
Sat., Nov. 7
- St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church celebrates their annual Fiesta with carnival rides, old-fashioned games, international foods, a beer garden, live music, and great talent show! Everyone welcome to join in the fun! 2-10 PM Sat., noon-8 PM Sun, 1879 N. Lake Ave (parking at St. E's school across Lake).
- Spend a “An Afternoon with Robert Wagner” who will discuss his bestselling autobiography, Pieces of My Heart, at the Altadena Senior Center, 530 E. Mariposa Dr., next door to the Altadena Main Library. This Friends of the Library event is free and will be followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
