The Altadena Town Council suffered its second resignation of a new councilman in as many months today, with the resignation of vice-chair Dennis Bridwell. Chairman Gino Sund sent out the following email this afternoon:
Council Members,I am sorry to announce the resignation of Dennis Bridwell Representative from CT 4603.01 from the Council. In his resignation letter received today, Mr. Bridwell stated "I feel I am unable at this time to provide the attention needed in order to adequately serve the community and meet the obligations of my seat and position as Vice Chairman". This is a real loss to the Council and we wish Dennis the best.The Council now has a vacancy in CT 4603.01. Any resident of that census tract that is 18 years or older and a citizen of the United States may apply to fill this vacancy. Applications are available at the Altadena Community Center. The Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
