Here's some video of Canyon Crest Drive. The only access to the Meadows. We're pretty much cut off from the rest of Altadena now. It looks like debris flow from the station fire have clogged the culvert causing water to flow over the road. There also appears to be a place where the Canyon Crest is completely washed out.

Thought you might want to know that Canyon Crest Road leading into the Meadows was closed after Millard Creek overran the bridge. The culverts were so clogged - not much water was coming through the culverts - but it backed up so much it came over the roadway. Logs and mud flowed down the road - a large truck leaving the area got stuck when logs ran under the truck. I'll send more photos shortly from that area. I thought this was going to happen...I even took BEFORE pics yesterday!

4 PM: Greg Stanton at the Meadows blog tells us that lower Canyon Crest is impassable and emergency crews are onsite (apparently the creek has overflowed).
2:30 PM: Just got back from running absolute-have-to-errands. Lights are doing the on-off thing here in East Altadena, street lights are out along Lake Ave. Scanner has a bunch of Altadena Station deputies in La Canada/La Crescenta area, evacuating neighborhoods (altho' they say only Pardise Valley in La Canada Flindtridge area is under evacuation just now). Some streets in the foothill communities are closed. Pasadena PD has some problems with flooded streets, assorted tree branches and power lines are down.
... and someone just reminded us that Millard Canyon residents have already left.
