It looks like the east side burglers are taking their M.O. to other neighborhoods. Reader Karen Hovanitz tells us:
A home on Crestford Drive, near Aladena Drive, in the Florecita Farm neighborhood, was broken into [Feb. 19 in the afternoon]. The burglars came in through an open window at the rear of the house, and left through the front door. A computer, jewelry and a camera were taken. The home security system registered that the intruders were in the house two minutes. A palm print was left, and the Altadena Sheriffs will try to make an identification from that. We send our sympathy to the home owners. Please, be extra cautious about locking your doors and windows.
