- Follow the bouncing PUSD ball: after abruptly canceling the Teacher/Student of the month programs spearheaded by former Altadena town councilman Herbert Simmons, PUSD has reinstated them, according to Simmons' website. And in return, Simmons is calling for Altadenans to separate from PUSD and vote down the parcel tax.
- Border crossing: Town councilwoman Susan Goldman writes us to correct our story (involving the arrested sex offender) where the Pasadena/Altadena border lies along Woodbury:
The north AND south side of Woodbury, at least between Catalina and Mar Vista, are both Altadena. The line is one house on Catalina on the east side, and 2 houses south on the west, both in Altadena. Some backyards are in either, but the south side of Woodbury is Altadena.
