Photographic works by Janet E. Dandridge
Work will be on display for the month of February
Born and raised amongst the colorful backdrops and characters that comprise the Georgetown section of Washington D.C., Miss Dandridge had no shortage of inspiration. After working in the world of film and television, Janet decided to embrace her passion for photography.
This exhibit, Faces, is a series of intimate portraits of Black folks in America. It addresses the anatomy of the African-American or Black face and toys with the presumed idea of who this person really is in relation to the face that we see.
