Altadenan Susan Carrier and her co-publisher, Troy Corley, are celebrating one year since they "adopted" The Orange Cat, a twice-a-month e-newsletter and website for San Gabriel Valley families.
Orange Cat readers are invited to come in their most comfortable clothing to the first annual Orange Cat Mom Mixer on Wednesday, February 17, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Essick House, 550 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre. The FREE event will feature comfort foods, such as mac 'n' cheese, mini cupcakes donated by local cupcakeries, wine, lots of prizes, music and more. The Four Graces will offer 15-minute chair massages or facials for a $10 donation.
