More dogs found!:
My husband and I found two beautiful and friendly dogs running loose up Windsor, several blocks south of Mountain View, today at around 4:00pm. They were running in the middle of street and could have easily been hit. They were chasing a bicyclist who seemed pretty nervous when we asked if these were his dogs (they were not), so we pulled over and corralled them.The mama dog had a chain collar with a broken black strap attached, but the male puppy had nothing. They clearly were together, and both were extremely friendly and sweet.
We couldn't take them home (we have cats), and not knowing what else to do, we dropped them off at the Sheriff's station on Altadena. They station was kind enough to hold onto them until animal control could come pick them up. I will post this information elsewhere as well, but as an avid reader of your wonderful blog, I have seen happy endings in Critterdena and am hopeful your readers may know where they belong. These are the best pics we could take with my husband's phone.
I hope they come from a good home. I still shudder when I recall what another reader said about dog fighting rings in the area. For what it's worth, they seemed pretty loved and I hope they get back to their (good) home safe and sound.Thank you!Susan & Adam Streets
