The Altadena Historical Society is promoting our upcoming tour with facts and photos from our files about the George Gilbert Green family.
Green was a multi millionaire when there were only 4000 millionaires in the country. His modest 23 room house on Mariposa Street in Altadena was called “the ranch.” The house is gone, but the carriage house where he kept his ranch horses and numerous carriages still stands and will be open to the public on April 25, 2010 between 10 AM=5 PM.
