Snortland organizes cancer fundraising events

Altadena author/actor/activist/whirlwind Ellen Snortland has packed a couple more events in her already-busy schedule, to help a friend, Robin Carlson, who is fighting cancer:

First, she tells us, they're holding a fundraising bingo night at Throop Unitarian Universalist Church, 300 S. Los Robles, Pasadena, on Sat., April 3. at 6:30 PM. TIckets are $20 (which includes three bingo cards),  and there will be refreshments and prizes.  To guarantee entry, reserve your tickets online by March 31:

Second, she will hold a benefit performance of her one-woman show, "Now That She's Gone," at the Actor's Repertory Theater, 2811 W. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank
