Altadena's Brio Spa and Cafe, 2003-2009 N. Lake, is picking up on the "cafe" part, catering some major events with the help of the Episcopal Housing Alliance kitchen.
On March 27, Brio Cafe catered a meeting for 200 union members at the Writer's Guild of America, across from the Farmer's Market Grove in Los Angeles. Starting off with fresh bagels, honey-whipped cream cheese and an assortment of gourmet muffins and preserves from Napa Valley, and continued with a lavish selection of healthy sandwiches, fruits, and desserts. They also provided a nosh with imported dried fruit,
pastries, domestic cheese and an array of fresh fruit baskets for 15
directors who were overly impressed with the
spread, along with Jones Panama Coffee (also available at the Altadena cafe).
Brio Spa and Cafe has also catered private events or held private spa nights for the Marion Ross family, Danny DeVito, Edward Jones Investments, State Farm Insurance, and several law firms.
Good news for a local Altadena business (and Altadenablog sponsor). Click on the menus for a look at what they offer.
