The (almost) Altadena-adjacent Bungalow Heaven Neighborhood Association presents its 21st annual "Bungalow Heaven Historic Home Tour" on Sun., April 25, from 10 AM-4 PM:
Come tour eight historic Arts & Crafts-era homes in Bungalow Heaven, Pasadena's first Landmark District and a recent addition to the National Register of Historical Places.
Join us for a self-guided walking tour of historic homes, lecture, demonstrations, raffle, music, and the Bungalow Heaven mercantile. And returning for 2010, visit our Living History Home – taking place inside a 1926 Spanish Colonial Revival bungalow - with costumed actors portraying a family and their activities during the Roaring Twenties.
Bungalow Heaven is located north of the 210 (Foothill) Freeway in the heart of residential Pasadena between the Lake and Hill exits. Tickets will be available at McDonald Park located at the intersection of Mar Vista Avenue and Mountain Street on the day of the tour for $20 or in advance for $18/person. Advanced ticket sales end April 15.
Note: Due to the historic nature of the homes, disabled access to houses on the tour is not available.
