Pasadena reveals prospective police chief panelists

Of interest:  Dan Abendschein's Under the Dome blog at Pasadena Star-News has a list of nominees for the final panel to help choose a new Pasadena police chief.  Some of the names are pretty well-known locally.  Names that leap out at us include Altadena town councilman Techumseh Shackelford, Altadena-raised PWeekly reporter Andre Coleman, Barbara Bigby of the Altadena NAACP, Star-News public editor Larry Wilson,  and Peggy York, a former Deputy Chief of the LAPD (and wife of 90's flashback Judge Lance Ito).
