The Sheriff's Support Group's Robert Klomburg says they're spiffin' the place up for summer concert series:
The omnipresent Bill Westphal tipped me off on Tuesday about lots of activity around the stage area and in the amphitheater in Farnsworth Park. So, I high tailed it up there yesterday and snapped the attached photo.
I am very impressed with the work that Parks & Recreation has done in the final phase of their improvements to the amphitheater. I think our guests this year will be equally impressed.
The center section benches should be completed by next week. They will also be laying sod around the new concrete stage by next week as well.
It is really looking nice and move in and out will be so much easier for our performers and sound engineer.
